2023 is almost here, and we can’t believe it. Ready or not, it’s coming, and we’re here with your guide to dining, drinking, dancing, and otherwise doing New Year’s Eve right. All of these events will be ticketed or reservation based, so make sure to reserve your spot soon.

Start the New Year with Special Performances on the Piano at The Nines: This neighborhood newcomer is offering two seatings, one at 5:30 and one at 8:45. There will be special piano performances throughout the night, and each seating will include both dinner and drinks. The second seating will run till midnight, and after the ball drops, they’ll open up the restaurant for DJs and dancing. More here.

Dance the Night Away at Gonzalez y Gonzalez: Their New Year’s Eve bash is here to help you dance right out of 2022 and into 2023. They’ll have DJs and music all night long, spinning up Latin tunes, and the cover is just $20. They’re also offering a special 8:00 PM dinner reservation, which includes open bar all night long and admission to the event. Make a reservation here.

Kick off the New Year with KYU: This NoHo newcomer is offering two seatings on New Year’s Eve. Join them earlier in the night for a special six course $190 prix fixe menu, or starting at 9:00 PM, join the second seating for a $250 nine course feast that runs through the midnight countdown. Enjoy a four course feast at Lafayette Grande and Bakery: This neighborhood hotspot is offering two seatings of a four course, $150 prix-fixe menu. Two seatings will be offered, and the menu features cozy-chic French fare they’re known for. Check out the menu here.

Catch a Show at The Public: End the New Year on a bang with Sandra Bernhard, and her show at Joe’s Pub, Soul’d Out. Starting December 27th, performances will be held nightly, and on December 31st, there will be two special performances, at 8:00 PM and 11:00 PM. Buy tickets here.

Count Down with Vic’s: This cozy Italian spot is offering serving up their normal menu, however, reservations seated between 9:30 and 11:00 PM will be guaranteed a table for their clock countdown and will receive both party favors and a venue-wide toast. Reserve a table here.

Imbibe at Il Buco: This neighborhood favorite is serving up a special, $175 six course prix-fixe menu at their restaurant, featuring festive and cozy seasonal Italian fare. The restaurant’s offering two seating, one at 5:00 and another at 8:00. The later seating will include a midnight toast and party favors for all guests. Check out the menu here.

Toast to 2023 at Slainte: From 11:00 PM to 3:00 AM this bar is hosting a great New Year’s Eve bash! This Bowery bar has great cocktails, craft beer, a nice wine selection and simply delightful bar food, so it’s the perfect place for everybody in your party. More here.

Let Loose at Duane Park: This burlesque bar is offering two New Year’s Eve dinner and shows at 6:00 and 10:00 PM. Each will include a four course meal, and the signature burlesque shows that they’re known for. The 10:00 PM show will include a special confetti pop at midnight and will last into New Year’s Day. Spend New Year’s Day at the Merchant’s House Museum: Ring in the New Year how New Yorkers would have almost 200 years ago. Paying social calls on friends and family on the first day of the new year was one of Old New York’s most cherished customs.
