Since the summer is when everybody is meant to grab a drink and get together and reconnect, the NoHo Business Improvement District is hosting our 2024 Summer Party at Jean’s, located at 415 Lafayette Street. The BID and our hosts are so excited to welcome the neighborhood into their intimate basement space tucked below busy Lafayette Street.
On Wednesday, July 17th from 5:30 to 7:30 PM, join us for this one-of-a-kind celebration of the community that makes our neighborhood so special. Whether you’re an artist, own a store, have an office, live in the neighborhood, represent us in government, or are another friend of the BID, come join us to celebrate NoHo.
Connect with old friends from around the neighborhood, meet others from the community, and experience one of the buzziest new restaurants in the City over light refreshments and drinks.
RSVPs are required, please fill out this form to RSVP.
Jean’s is a new neighborhood restaurant that debuted in 2023 featuring a menu of epicurean options, all featuring produce from the restaurant’s own farm in Pennsylvania. Come for elevated classics like the burger with fondue, seasonal pastas, shrimp cocktail, the French dip made from aged ribeye, and their giant, hot chocolate chip cookie. Alongside the food menu, they offer an extensive bar selection, with a special focus on craft cocktails.
The venue channels the New York cool of a bygone era. It’s less like stepping into another scene-y Manhattan restaurant and more like coming over to your friend’s dinner party in a NoHo loft. In the restaurant, the interiors are cozy and chic at the same time, with a library like feel accented by a working fireplace. It’s at once a spot for neighbors and regulars, a destination restaurant, a special spot for nightlife, and much, much more.
NoHo runs deep at Jean’s, and owners Max Chodorow, Ashwin Deshmukh, and Bernardo Metsch have operated neighborhood venues for years, including NoHo’s own Asia de Cuba.
