New Year’s Eve is about as big a celebration as you can get in NYC. There’s not really a wrong way to spend the night, but there is a right way: here in NoHo! From special shows to nightlong celebrations there’s no shortage of ways for the night to go down in the neighborhood. 

Gonzalez y Gonzalez: This Mercer Street Salsa Saloon is throwing a Mexican-style New Year’s Eve bash! First, from 7:00 – 10:00 PM, join them for a three hour table stay with open bar, including plenty of appetizers, dinner, and dessert for $100 per person. Joes Pub: There’s two shows to choose from at Joe’s Pub on New Year’s Eve. At 7:00 PM Justin Vivian Bond will breeze into Joe’s Pub, sweep out the old in one hour, and march out into the streets and into the new decade! Lafayette: This grand cafe and bakery is offering a special four-course menu for $140 to help start a night of revelry! There’s lot of options to choose from at each course and the menu is heavy on seasonal dishes including truffle and squash. Get more information here.

The Poni Room: A fantastic New Year’s party with no reservations? Yes, it does exist! Join The Poni from 9:30pm to 1:00am for non-stop pink champagne from 5 different producers. Enjoy elegant canapés including luxury ingredients such as foie gras and caviar. The party is $75 per person, or $65 for guests who are having dinner beforehand at their sister restaurant, Saxon + Parole. No tickets necessary, just register on Eventbrite to reserve your spot and pay at the door!

Saxon + Parole: This Bowery hotspot is always looking for a reason to party and New Year’s Eve is the biggest party of the year! Ring in the New Year ’20s-style with an elegant a la carte menu, a bountiful raw bar, and two champagne towers. Sweetwater Social: This basement cocktail hotspot on Broadway is hosting a bash with a DJ and open bar. Basic tickets are $80 and include 5 hours of open bar, or you can skip the line for $90! The Wren: Join The Wren for a night full of libations and celebrations from 9:00 PM to midnight. Tickets are $100 and include burlesque performances, an open bar with special celebratory cocktails, hors d’ouerves and a champagne toast at midnight. See details here.
