Sabah is more than just a shoe shop. It’s the vision, brand, care, and style of owner Mickey Ashmore. Sabah began in 2012, and quickly grew from there. By the next year, the first Sabah House had opened in NYC. After several years selling out of a NoHo loft space at 49 Bleecker Street, they’ve transitioned into a beautiful, breezy storefront on Bleecker Street. With an office and warehouse space just across the street, they’re true NoHo neighbors.
They brought back some incredible historical details as part of their new store, where they reopened long-bricked up doorways and windows. On the sidewalk, they’ve added delightful planters and tables and chairs, perfect for relaxing away an afternoon.
