  • Keeping Your Storefront Safe – Tues., May 2nd at 11:00 AM
    Meet with Crime Prevention Officers from the NYPD 6th Precinct to discuss strategies for making sure your storefront is well laid out to prevent crime, what to do when something happens at your business, and resources available to small businesses.
  • Updates to COVID Recovery Programs – Wed., May 3rd at 12:00 PM
    Join Andrew Flamm, Director of the Pace Small Business Development Center to learn about some of the key updates you need to know about COVID-19 recovery programs. This includes, but is not limited to updates on loan and grant programs, what you need to know about repaying, and resources still available.
  • Grow with Google: Get Your Local Business on Google Search and Maps – Thurs., May 4th at 1:00 PM
    Join Basim Newby, a member of the Grow with Google team and entrepreneur, for this workshop on how to make sure your business is properly set up on Google, including Maps, Search, and Google My Business. Making sure you’re up to date and active is important to being successful online.
  • Connecting with the NYU Community: Recruiter Ready – Thurs., June 15th at 11:00 AM
    Whether you are a new employer to NYU, need a refresher on NYU virtual/in-person recruitment services, or want to learn tips on the best ways to attract diverse talent, we invite you to join us to learn more about our students and how we can support your strategy to recruit talent at NYU.

The event will end with a free Small Business Mixer for businesses located in and around the NYU community, including in NoHo! This mixer is a great way to connect with other business owners, with NYU, and other community members. The Mixer will take place on Thursday, May 4th from 6:00 – 8:00 PM. Light snacks and drinks will be served. Guests will be able to participate in a live raffle, featuring prizes from local businesses in the community!
