231 Grand Street is the temporary home to 208 asylum-seeking families, including families with young children. Here are three ways to help our neighbors:  

  1. More than 40 students have enrolled at PS 130. To help these children, PS 130 has set up an Amazon wish list for items to ship directly to the school. Purchase here. 
  2. City Councilmember Christopher Marte’s Office is collecting new (and gently used) clothing and supplies. Drop off donations Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 65 East Broadway. View flyer here.
  3. Welcome to Chinatown is hosting a gofundme.com fundraiser in partnership with City Councilmember Christopher Marte’s Office. Contribute here.
