This Business Reopening Center is designed to help your business stay on-top of the changing guidelines, regulations, and rules you have to follow for COVID-19. We’ll continue to update this page with information for businesses.
All businesses that plan to reopen must follow do the following. All businesses are subject to inspection by New York State to insure compliance with these rules.
- Read your industry guidelines and submit a Business Affirmation to the State
- Fill out, and keep on site, a Business Reopening Safety Plan
- Post signage on what actions you’re taking in regards to COVID-19
- The US Chamber of Commerce has a customizable signage creator
- CDC signage is also available

- Retail Rental, Repair, and Cleaning Services
- Personal Care Services
Make sure your online presence is up-to-date. Check your Google Business listing and ensure your hours are up-to-date. Make sure accurate hours are posted on your website, social media accounts, and other services like Yelp and delivery apps.
Get PPE for your store. We are offering free masks, please reach out to us if you’d like some. The Department of Small Business Services has created a portal to help you procure other PPE like gloves, thermometers, outdoor furniture, and more from local providors. Check it out here.
