After an almost five-year closure, NoHo’s iconic, beloved Temple Bar has roared back-to-life. Originally opened in the early 90s by NoHo restauranteur George Schwartz, Temple Bar blew up in the Downtown scene for its glitzy environs and by riding the martini craze of the time. Known for its glamorous, timeless upscale feel, the bar was a truly beloved neighborhood fixture. Upon the passing of Mr. Schwartz, both Temple Bar and the neighboring NoHo Star were closed.

Now, a group of chic, upcoming restauranteurs, who knew and loved the space, have brought it back. The inside is mostly unchanged, and the menu brings back the iconic martini-focused drinks, free popcorn, and familiar food items like steak cubes. We’re so glad they are back!
