A Solo Art Exhibition Showing in Stores Around NoHo by NoHo Artist Sonya Sklaroff
The NoHo Business Improvement District is thrilled to announce the first NoHo Art Nexus, a dynamic art event featuring the remarkable talent of Sonya Sklaroff. Invited to transform NoHo into her personal art gallery for the month of May, Sklaroff’s paintings will invigorate the neighborhood and our businesses with their unique charm. This collaboration not only celebrates NoHo’s vibrant arts scene, but extends a one of a kind invitation for New Yorkers to experience the unique stores that make up our neighborhood. From May 2nd to 28th, viewers can enjoy Sklaroff’s captivating pieces as they explore the diverse boutiques, cafes, spas, and artisans that define our beloved neighborhood.
To show yourself around the Exhibition, head to one of the participating stores, grab a NoHo Nexus Passport from a participating store, and visit every business to be entered into a raffle to win great prizes! Prizes include a signed, limited-edition archival print from Sonya, a signed catalog for the show, and a signed copy of her Love Letters to New York book. As you see the work from each store, get your passport stamped, and when you’ve seen them all, submit a picture of the completed passport to either @nohonyc on Instagram or to chandler@noho.nyc via email to enter.

See the show with the artist herself at our Walks with Sonya Sklaroff. These begin at Bond 07 by Selima, located at 7 Bond Street in the heart of NoHo. From there, we’ll venture across the neighborhood to see the more than 70 art works located throughout our host stores. Dates for Walks with Sonya are Saturday, May 4th at 1:00 PM; Wednesday, May 8th at 6:00 PM; Friday, May 17th at 6:00 PM; Thursday, May 23rd at 6:00 PM; and Tuesday, May 28th at 6:00 PM.
The neighborhood has been transformed into a gallery, with 17 great NoHo stores displaying Sonya’s work. Participating businesses include:
