Join Bessou for a Jazzy Celebration: Bleecker Street Japanese join Bessou is hosting two seatings, at 7:00 and 9:30, this New Year’s Eve. The menu will be a special, five-course menu featuring lobster hot pot, wagyu steak, and other delicacies, served alongside live jazz music. The 9:30 seating will include a midnight countdown! Make the Evening Special with BONDST: Tucked away on beautiful Bond Street, this Asian eatery is offering seatings all night long, and will be serving up seasonal and celebratory specials for the big night. Their lounge will be open until 1:30, making it a perfect spot to keep the party going after a delicious meal. Book a table here.
Dinner and a New Year’s Eve Show at Duane Park: This speakeasy-style burlesque and jazz hall is offering a special four-course dinner and show just for New Year’s Eve! With the theme of ‘No Time to Die’, the show will be ” a night to celebrate all that we have all survived and celebrate our lives and livelihood and toast to this being No Time To Die at all! The New Year’s Eve Bash at Gonzalez y Gonzalez: Starting at 10:00 PM, join DJ Loco for a night of dancing and revelry at this busy Latin spot. Kick off the Night with Dinner at Il Buco: Beloved Bond Street Italian classic Il Buco is offering a special, six course prix fixe dinner on New Year’s Eve. They’ll be offering seatings through 10:00 PM, making it a great spot to start off the night off right. The meal costs $175 per person. See the menu here.
Celebrate at the Jolene: This NoHo newcomer is ringing in the New Year with their late night drink menu. Reservations from 10:00 onwards will come with a viewing of the ball drop, countdown, and all the once-a-year fun. Make a reservation here.
After a Hard Two Years, Bern it Down at The Public: It’s no secret, the last two years have been one for the history books. Sandra Bernhard has an elegant solution, Bern it Down. This lively, pointedly accurate, and hilarious show has been a Holiday favorite for years, and this year’s take is sure to be great. Buy tickets here.
End the Year at Slainte: On the Bowery, Slainte is hosting an exciting evening, with the ball drop shown on their big screen TVs, food and drinks late into the night, and lots of excitement. Join The Wren for a Disco Pajama Party: From 9:00 PM to midnight, The Wren will be hosting a Disco Pajama Party with snacks, cocktails, a champagne toast at midnight, and a DJ. For $130 (gratuity is included), you’ll be able to eat, drink, and party your way into the New Year. Learn more here.
Take Part in a Party for the Ages at 310 Bowery Bar: New York is back, and so is New Year’s Eve at this Bowery hotspot. They’re throwing a party to end all parties from 9:00 PM – 1:00 AM. Spend New Year’s Day at Merchant’s House Museum: If you’d rather kick off the New Year the old fashioned way, meaning how the Treadwell, and other 19th century upper class members of New York would have, look no further. The Merchant’s House Museum is hosting a free ($10 suggested donation) virtual event that will take you back to the New York of 170 years ago, and show how they would have celebrated the new year.
