The New York City Department of City Planning (DCP) has launched The Manhattan Plan, an initiative designed to add 100,000 new homes to the borough over the next decade, with their goal to allow more people of all income levels to experience everything the borough has to offer. To do this, DCP wants to hear from you and get your ideas, whether you live, work, or spend time in Manhattan.
Right now, the most important thing to do is take a brief survey to provide your input and ideas to inform the Manhattan Plan.
Meet DCP In Your Neighborhood: Find the Manhattan Plan pop-up booth at an upcoming greenmarket, open streets, or other event.
Stay Up to Date: The Manhattan Plan will be published at the end of 2025. Sign up here to stay informed. Get involved share your thoughts about what’s important to you, where housing should go, and to offer ideas for how Manhattan can get to 100,000 new homes.
