Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, and NoHo is the City’s most romantic destination. Don’t take it from us, Thrillist’s Guide to the most romantic restaurants in NYC includes several phenomenal NoHo spots, including Il Buco, The Nines, Raf’s, and C as in Charlie.
Aside from dining, we’ve also rounded up some of neighborhood’s other great spots that are perfect for Valentine’s Day or any other date night where you’re aiming to impress!
See an intimate show at Joe’s Pub: This legendary venue inside the Public Theater has a constantly changing calendar of shows featuring talent from all over the world. Go for a sexy show, something soulful or romantic, or a dinner unlike any other. Check out their calendar here.
Get a couple’s massage: NoHo’s home to two of NYC’s best spas, each of which offers incredible couple’s massages. At Haven Spa, you can choose from any of their more than fifteen massage varieties and turn it into a lovely couple’s massage. Alternatively, spend the day forgetting you’re in NYC at all with Great Jones Spa‘s fantastic water lounge, complete with a three story waterfall, and full menu of services including everything from an Italian blood orange body scrub to Hydrafacials. Check out their offerings here.
Get a drink in a cozy NoHo bar: NoHo’s home to many bars for any kind of occasion, but when it comes to date night, dark and cozy is absolutely the way to go. Whether it’s the quiet back tables of VON, martinis in the wood panels of Temple Bar, or hours spent over Guinness at Swift Hibernian Lounge, you’re sure to have a memorable date night.
Browse a bookstore: There’s something romantic about dropping it all and spending hours in the shelves of a classic NYC bookstore. Luckily, NoHo’s got some of the City’s best independent booksellers. Between seemingly endless stacks of books and records at Mercer Street Books and Records, the pint sized Codex Books, the artistic flair of Dashwood Books, and the tightly curated selection at Book/Shop inside of CHCM, you can spend hours browsing the shelves for a truly one-of-a-kind date experience.
Impress with a floral arrangement: Adore Floral offers stunning arrangements for pickup or delivery based out of their Bond Street store. If simple is more your style, walk in and grab some stems yourself from Plantshed, a NoHo newcomer. This flower shop cafe is now open inside of the new KITH Women’s flagship store, with a great selection of blooms.
See a burlesque show at Duane Park: This Bowery burlesque venue is one of the sexiest dinner shows in the Five Boroughs. With two shows a night every Thursday through Sunday, grab a meal that’s unlike any you’ve ever had before. See their calendar here.
