Relative Relations, an art exhibit featuring more than 70 artists is now on display at the Dr. Bernarn Heller Museum at the Hebrew Union College. Open through June 30, 2020, this exihibit explores human connections as shaped by genetic, geography, shared interests and beliefs, and destiny.
Director Jean Bloch Rosensaft noted, “Relative Relationships” represents the Dr. Bernard Heller Museum’s mission to present exhibitions that explore Jewish experience, values, and history and have universal relevance. The ethnic and religious diversity of the seventy artists in this exhibition find common ground in their expression of the essence of human connections.” Despite the diversity of artists, the show builds on themes of love and unity, a poignant message for today’s world. With a broad array of mediums used ranging from yarn to charocoal and everything in between, the message is conveyed in new and unique ways throughout the exihibit.
The Museum is open Monday through Thursday, from 9:00 – 5:00 and Fridays from 9:00 – 3:00 and is located at 1 West 4th Street. Admission is free and open to all. Learn more about the show here.
