NOHO: BIG HISTORY IN A COMPACT NEIGHBORHOOD
LED BY BILL ROSSER, MAS DOCENT
You will see NoHo’s intact architectural examples of its 200+ year evolution as a compact Manhattan neighborhood. From a beer garden (1804) to the height of residential fashion at The Colonnade on Lafayette St. (1830) to elegant condos on Bond St. (2005) – and the ups and downs of the 200-year transition. Includes the Public Theater, a Louis Sullivan skyscraper, Cooper Union, etc. Plus specific homes of many famous musicians and artists.
