The Gene Frankel Theatre has remained steadfast since Gene Frankel founded the theatre in 1949, and continues to be a revolutionary theatre and vibrant with classes. As they aim to keep nurturing new talents, they work to cultivate a theatre that speaks a personal change, the only truly manageable change that can lead to a new and better social, political, economic world.

On Tuesday, January 5th, 2016, “Jimmy Funny Cry Happy Disco” is to come back to the theater due to popular demand!  It’s James Kaston’s musings & monologue about his experiences in the late 1970’s, during the gay disco era in Manhattan.
