Furniture Design Classes at The Furniture Joint
Here is a list of upholstery and design classes to give you the proper skills and knowledge in handmade furniture and interior design!
BEGINER SERIES: Monthly basis year-round upholstery classes are offered at the Furniture Joint. Taught personally by Matthew Haley and one of his upholstery apprentices, participants receive rare hands-on instruction, learn the fundamentals of upholstery and work toward realization of an ottoman from frame to completed form. All tools and equipment are provided.
- Class size is limited to 8-10 people
- 4 Week Series: 1 class per week
- Monday thru Thursday & Saturdays
- Evenings, 6:00PM – 8:30PM/ Saturdays, 8:00PM – 10:30PM
- Cost: $485 per Series

INTERIOR DECORATING CLASS: Learn the do’s-and-don’ts of color, how to lay out a room to scale, how to combine fabrics, colors and textures. And also learn how to get inspired and gain access to invaluable design resources.

- Limited to 4 to 8 people in each class
